Human Resources Manager

Job Description

This leading manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate has experience managing an hourly workforce and can balance effective recruiting, employee relations, and day-to-day HR needs.

Recruiting & Staffing: Oversee full-cycle recruiting for hourly production, skilled trades, supervisory, and administrative roles. Partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, attract qualified candidates, and monitor recruiting metrics.

Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and workplace conflicts, coach supervisors on performance management and corrective action, and support employee engagement, attendance, and retention.

HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while overseeing onboarding, personnel records, leave administration, workplace investigations, and HR reporting.

Leadership & Business Partnership: Collaborate with production and operations leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, reduce turnover, improve workforce effectiveness, and promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a similar HR management role.

Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or other high-volume hourly workforce environment strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employee relations matters
