Equipment Operator

Job Description

Excavates materials to dimensions as specified by construction drawings, sketches, grade markers, and verbal instructions.

Manages stockpiles.

Performs backfilling and grading operations to specified grades for landscaping, haul roads, and other purposes.

Loads trucks with excavated soils or building materials such as stone, aggregate, or asphalt.

Performs other duties as required.

Inspects, greases, fuels, and cleans heavy equipment daily.

Performs other maintenance per schedule.
