Position Overview

The State of Ohio ODRC is seeking a Programmer 3 (PR3) with strong experience in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Azure, and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded developer capable of working independently across multiple projects, from solution design and technical planning through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Azure.

Perform solution design, technical planning, analysis, and system design.

Develop and maintain SQL Server applications, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views.

Develop and support web applications and APIs.

Perform system/unit testing and create test documentation.

Create technical documentation covering application functionality and testing methods.

Develop business and functional flow diagrams.

Recommend and implement software reusability guidelines.

Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to peers and lower-level staff.

Analyze existing applications and recommend improvements.

Work across multiple projects as directed by the Application Manager.

Develop reports and perform lower-level programming tasks as needed.

Work with Git for source code and document version control.

Remain flexible and adopt new tools and technologies as required.

Position will be initially remote but eventually onsite at 1221 McKinley Avenue, Columbus, OH.

Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Candidate must be willing to complete a fingerprint check.

Government equipment cannot be taken or used outside the United States.

Selected candidate must accept the offer within 48 hours of vendor notification.
