Data Analytics Specialist

Position: Data Analytics Specialist

TGL USA INC is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to analyze logistics and operational data, develop performance reports, and provide insights that support planning and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data from transportation, warehousing, customer service, and other operational sources for analysis and reporting.

• Review datasets for missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Analyze shipment volumes, delivery timelines, inventory activity, and transportation performance to identify patterns and operational issues.

• Monitor key performance indicators and assess changes in service levels, processing times, resource use, and costs.

• Analyze transportation and warehousing costs, including changes in rates, volumes, and operating expenses, to support cost planning.

• Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and data summaries for management and operational teams.

• Conduct ad hoc analyses in response to business questions, customer needs, and changes in operational performance.

• Compare historical trends with current results to support workload planning and identify potential service or capacity issues.

• Present analytical findings in a clear format and recommend practical improvements to reporting and operational processes.

• Work with teams across the company to improve data collection practices, reporting consistency, and the use of data in decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence tools.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Experience with logistics or supply chain data is preferred.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a plus.
