The business is looking for a motivated Assistant Store Managers (Retail Supervisors) who are eager to grow and take on a key role within the store. This position suits someone who enjoys guiding a team, solving problems, and keeping daily operations running without interruption.

Location: Esperance WA 6450

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Annual Remuneration: Between $80,000 and $85,000 plus superannuation

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in meeting overall performance goals.

• Oversee day-to-day work of team members on the shop floor.

• Maintain a high standard of customer care.

• Plan rosters, allocate duties, and make sure staff understand expectations.

• Participate in recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.

• Provide guidance when staff face challenging customer or operational issues.

• Review returned items and decided on the appropriate resolution.

• Conduct routine stock reviews to keep inventory accurate.

• Confirm that pricing, ticketing, and presentation meet store requirements.

• Support stock availability and maintain clear, well-organised displays.

• Promote safe work practices and uphold OHS obligations.

Requirement

• AQF Certificate II or above in Retail, Management, Leadership, Business, Commerce, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting or another related area; or one year of relevant full-time experience as an alternative to formal study.

• Minimum one year of recent experience in a similar role.

• Positive attitude, dependable nature, strong customer focus, and the ability to guide others.

• Must hold unrestricted work rights in Australia.
