Anesthesiologist

The selected Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services in support of the VA's clinical operations. The role is intended for a physician who is comfortable working in a hospital-based environment and providing care to a diverse patient population

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.

Current, unrestricted medical license appropriate for the assignment.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Active DEA registration, as applicable.

Ability to meet VA credentialing, privileging and background requirements.

Anticipated start: November 1, 2026

Initial contract: 12 months, with up to four one-year renewal options.

M-F 7:00 AM-5:30 pm

Coverage: (some rotation) Weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays, as required by the contract.
