Statistical Project Leader (0077-0001)

Lead research on innovative design and decision-making approaches integrating advanced statistical methods or machine learning techniques. Accountable for predictive modeling, statistical simulations, and/or leading development of a tool for novel methodology, and accountable for providing statistical consultations on technical issues identified from projects/studies across multiple therapeutic areas. Lead EGDS (Evidence Generation & Decision Science) contributions to the project stat deliverables of methodology and/or modeling and simulations, and provide guidance on deliverables to protocol, statistical analysis plan, or agency briefing book. Develop predictive models and simulations to extract actionable insights from diverse data sources to optimize study design and decision making, and implement state-of-the-art methodology as necessary, including Bayesian and AI/ML methods. Promote and present the implementation of cutting-edge designs and methods at internal and external venues, provide internal trainings as necessary, and effectively convey complex statistical concepts to diverse audiences. Ensure productive collaborations with other statistical project leaders, internal/external statistical methodology experts and other key stakeholders as necessary, and communicate with senior leadership on project status.

Education and Experience Requirements

A PHD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field with 5 years experience with providing statistical support in clinical development in pharmaceutical industry including advanced innovative designs and Bayesian methods through use of statistical modeling and simulation using statistical programming language (R, SAS, Stan)

Telecommuting/Remote Work is Permitted
