Armed Security Attendants Full-Time & Part-Time

Now hiring:

- 1 Full-Time Armed Attendant — 30 hrs/week: 9pm-7am, 10 hrs/day, 3 nights, 1 location (paid 60 hrs biweekly). Extra days as needed.

- 1 Part-Time Armed Attendant — 12 hrs/week: 3:30pm-9:30pm, 6 hrs/day, 2 days, 1 location (paid 24 hrs biweekly). Extra days as needed.

Requirements (in order of importance):

1. MUST PASS DRUG ANALYSIS.

2. Must have CLEAN criminal background check.

3. Must have clean driving record. No speeding tickets or worse within the last 3 years.

4. Must already be NCPPSB Armed certified (PREFERRED). If not, applicant must get their own armed certificate — we will set up classes under us for you. BOPA will reimburse in increments.

5. Must have own firearm. If not, BOPA will TEMPORARILY loan a gun to applicant until applicant buys his/her own weapon.

6. Must have ability to DE-ESCALATE heated situations he/she may encounter while on duty.

7. Must have at least 1 to 3 years experience in an ARMED occupation: security, armored courier, law enforcement officer, corrections officer, detention officer, private investigator, bail agent, etc.

8. Must have own transportation to and from work.

9. Must be PUNCTUAL.

10. Must be able to follow instructions.

11. Must be able to wear agency issued uniform as instructed.

12. Must be able to maintain professional grooming while in uniform.

13. Must be able to accept job-related constructive criticism in order to become better at his/her job duties.
