Warehouse Worker/Order Puller/Picker/Packer/Shipper/Load/Unload

Halsey Foodservice currently seeking full-time Forklift Operator/Receiving clerk to join our team. Excellent candidate will have warehouse and standup forklift experience. Qualified applicants must be able to handle fast paced, physically demanding work, and repeatedly lifting objects. Must be VERY detail oriented when receiving product and putting product into slots. Must pass all pre-employment requirements. (Clean Criminal Background and Drug Screen). Day Shift: Monday - Friday This position offers competitive pay with excellent benefits. POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Must Haves

Warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Standup Forklift Experience

Able to work in cold environment. Freezer suit is provided when working in freezer

Must have keen focus on safety. Able to identify best-practices and implement actions to remediate issues.

Use best practices while selecting. Reading descriptions of product and selecting correct product.

Ability to use technology.

Food distribution background preferred but not required.

Must be respectful of others, and able to verbally communicate.

Able to think quickly and stay focused on solutions

Be a great listener when interacting with employees and supervisors.

Works well with others, likes to problem-solve

Dependable, punctual and work as scheduled

Reliable transportation

Pass pre-employment drug screen & background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
