Programmer/ .Net Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior Programmer / .NET Developer with 7+ years of relevant experience to support multiple projects and perform software development, technical planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and documentation. The role requires strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Azure, Azure Pipelines, React, Redux, Redis, Axios, Node.js, JavaScript, Git, GitHub, and Microsoft SQL Server. The developer will work independently with limited supervision, contribute to technical solutions and software reusability, perform unit and system testing, create technical documentation, and provide mentorship to peers and lower-level staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions across multiple projects as directed by the Application Manager

• Perform project technical planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation

• Develop applications using C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and related technologies

• Develop and maintain applications using React, Redux, Node.js, Redis, Axios, JavaScript, and related tools

• Work with Azure and Azure Pipelines to support application development and deployment

• Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views

• Perform system and unit testing and create appropriate test documentation

• Support manual QA testing processes

• Create technical documentation covering application functionality, testing methods, and business/functional flow diagrams

• Develop simple reports and perform lower-level development tasks as required

• Recommend and apply software reusability guidelines

• Work with Git and GitHub for source code and document version control

• Perform enterprise data modeling activities as required

• Provide technical mentorship to peers and lower-level staff through verbal instruction and technical documentation

• Evaluate and adopt new development tools and provide constructive technical recommendations

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant software development experience

• Bachelor's degree or 4-year college degree preferred

• Strong experience with solutions design, project technical planning, analysis and design, communication, testing, and implementation

• Strong experience with C#

• Experience with .NET Framework 4.1 through current versions

• Experience with .NET Core, including versions 6, 8, and 10

• Experience with ASP.NET web application development

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL development

• Experience with SQL procedures, functions, tables, and views

• Experience with Azure and Azure Pipelines

• Experience with React and Redux

• Experience with Node.js

• Experience with Redis and Axios

• Experience with JavaScript, JSON, APIs, and related web development technologies

• Experience with Git-based version control and GitHub

• Experience performing system and unit testing and creating test documentation

• Experience with manual QA testing processes

• Ability to create technical documentation and application flow diagrams

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision across multiple project areas

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Developer

• Experience with enterprise data modeling

• Experience with Microsoft Visio or other flow diagramming tools

• Experience with Knockout

• Familiarity with additional programming language tools

• Experience recommending software reusability guidelines
