Description:

Litigation Associate - Fort Lauderdale area\n \n Premier Pursuit is working with an established Florida firm to hire a litigation associate into its Broward County office.

The practice is generally community association law.\n \n What's the actual work?

Representing condominium and homeowners' associations.

Covenant and rules enforcement, assessment collections, lien and foreclosure work, governing-document amendments and interpretation, board and election counseling, and the litigation that comes out of all of it (which is most of it).\n \n Do I need community association experience?

It's what they'd most like to find, but it isn't required.

Collections, foreclosure, or general commercial litigation experience is a real path in.

Chapters 718 and 720 are learnable; being able to run your own files is harder to teach, and that's the part they care about.\n \n What about foreclosure work on the lender side?

Counts.

The mechanics transfer almost directly as you'd be foreclosing association liens instead of mortgages, and the procedural posture is familiar.\n \n What class year?

Open.

They don't have a fixed band, so apply if you're interested.\n \n To apply: Send a resume through this posting or email us directly at
