Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, impairments, and limitations, establishing a comprehensive plan of care tailored to each individual's situation and prognosis.

Create and implement effective treatment programs in accordance with physician orders, guiding patients through exercises and therapeutic interventions to promote recovery.

Maintain diligent documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Monitor and assess the efficacy of therapeutic interventions, making necessary adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.

Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, providing guidance and support to enhance the delivery of care.

Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to the discussion on patient care plans and share insights for improvement.

Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, expected recovery processes, and home exercise programs to ensure comprehensive care outside of therapy sessions. Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Heartfelt Insights, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those facing chronic pain, and patients rehabilitating from neurological conditions. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals regain their functional independence while enhancing their overall physical health.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.

Proficiency in documentation software and general computer skills. Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, preferably in a rehabilitation center.

Experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care. Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
