Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, identifying physical limitations and disabilities through various assessment techniques.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on recovery and mobility enhancement.

Consult with other healthcare providers regarding patient care, ensuring a seamless continuum of treatment.

Maintain accurate documentation of treatment and patient progress in electronic health records, adhering to legal and professional standards.

Engage with patients and their families in the planning of discharge to ensure a smooth transition and continued care.

Participate in community outreach and professional development efforts, fostering relationships that elevate the clinic's profile and services.

Supervise and mentor support staff, guiding their professional growth while ensuring optimal patient care practices. Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients at Bear Lake PT Clinic include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We cater to a diverse patient demographic across various ages and cultural backgrounds. Our therapists must be adept at building rapport, demonstrating empathy, and adjusting treatment methods to best fit each patient's unique situation.

Qualifications

Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

Possess a valid state license in Physical Therapy.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and team members.

Proficient in word processing and electronic health record systems. Preferred Experience

While prior experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, new graduates with a strong educational foundation and enthusiasm for patient care are welcome to apply. Experience in community outreach or leadership activities within a healthcare context is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
