Heartfelt Insights Psychiatry is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Warrenton, Virginia. Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center in Warrenton offers a supportive and dynamic onsite environment where our Physical Therapists can focus on patient-centered care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, all committed to improving patient outcomes. The schedule comprises weekday hours from Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts on weekends as needed, allowing for flexibility in balancing professional responsibilities and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, setting individualized goals, and developing comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with physicians' orders.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with professional standards and organizational protocols.

Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to address impairments, functional limitations, and changes in health status due to injury, disease, or other causes.

Monitor and assess the efficacy of treatment regimens, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes and promote patient independence.

Supervise physical therapy assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, guiding their activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to devise and update intervention programs, sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient recovery.

Contribute to departmental goals by participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing feedback to enhance practice standards and operational efficiencies. Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will serve range widely from those recovering from surgical procedures to patients dealing with chronic pain and mobility challenges. You can expect to work with diverse age groups, tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet the unique developmental needs of each patient, and ensuring a holistic approach to their rehabilitation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their physical capabilities and improve their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.

Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia. Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.

Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to patient care. Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
