In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.

Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.

Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but not required.
