The engineer will build and operate backend services, integrations, automation, and custom extensions that connect PLM with ERP, analytics, ECAD, and other downstream enterprise systems.The ideal candidate is a production-minded backend engineer who can own solutions end-to-end—from architecture and coding through CI/CD, Kubernetes deployment, observability, and production support.QualificationsCore requirements11+ years of experience building and supporting production backend softwareStrong expertise in modern backend development; C#/.NET is preferredStrong Java, Go, or Kotlin engineers are also acceptable if willing to work in C#/.NETCloud-native engineering experience, preferably Microsoft AzureAWS or GCP experience is acceptableHands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes, including real-world troubleshootingStrong API and enterprise-integration experience, including:REST APIsAPI pagination, retries, idempotency, and partial-failure handlingOAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect/OIDCExperience with relational and document data modelingInfrastructure-as-code and CI/CD ownershipBicep, Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or comparable toolsStrong understanding of code-level design patterns and SOLID principlesAutomated testing, production telemetry, troubleshooting, and operational ownershipExcellent written communication for design notes, runbooks, and engineering documentationInterest in product-engineering domains, including product definitions, BOMs, engineering changes, and release processesPreferred experiencePLM, PDM, ERP, CAD, or engineering-systems backgroundPTC Windchill experience is a strong plus, though PLM experience is not mandatoryAzure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, or other message-driven architecture experienceOpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Grafana, or related observability toolingExperience modernizing legacy applications while maintaining production stabilityExperience using AI-assisted engineering tools productively for development, debugging, testing, and documentationLocation US-ID 2026-4531Category Information TechnologyPosition Type Independent ContractorRemote YesClearance Required NonePay Range USD $68.00 - USD $72.00 /Hr.J-18808-Ljbffr
