Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including the assessment of medical history, physical functioning, and specific movement impairments.

- Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring engagement in goal-setting to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.

- Implement and monitor treatment protocols while adjusting plans based on ongoing evaluations and patient progress, utilizing evidence-based practices.

- Maintain accurate and efficient documentation of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, to comply with healthcare regulations.

- Consult with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address any changing needs or complications.

- Participate actively in department meetings, contributing to the collective goals of the organization and sharing insights for continuous improvement.

- Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of our services and the importance of physical rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our orthopedically-focused rehabilitation center serves a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from injuries, post-surgical patients, and individuals with chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

- Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience While prior work experience is not a prerequisite, candidates with clinical internships or proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, or patient education will be advantageous.
