Programmer 4 (PR4)

The role is for a senior developer who will support multiple application projects and be responsible for software development, technical planning, application design, testing, implementation, documentation, and mentoring.

The position requires strong experience with .NET/C#, React, Angular, Node.js, Azure, Redis, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Azure DevOps/Pipelines.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's/4-year college degree.

7+ years of:

Solutions design

Technical project planning

Analysis and design

Communication

Testing and implementation

7+ years recommending software reusability guidelines.

5+ years across Security, Presentation, Service, Data Persistence, and Execution layers.

2+ years Angular 7.

2+ years React UI.

2+ years Express / Express-GraphQL.

3+ years Spring Boot/application framework design and deployment.

3+ years JavaScript, Node.js, REST APIs and related development tools.

2+ years Amazon PostgreSQL.

Strong technical and business communication skills.

2+ years experience transitioning/transforming large, complex software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop enterprise software applications.

Analyze requirements and develop technical solutions.

Perform application development, testing, and implementation.

Plan technical solutions and project activities.

Develop and maintain web applications.

Create reports and application components as required.

Perform unit testing and manual QA activities.

Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Prepare technical documentation and flow diagrams.

Review application architecture and recommend reusable development practices.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers.

Work across multiple projects as required.

Support modernization and transformation of large, complex applications.

Preferred Skills:

Experience participating in or leading Agile projects.

AWS certification.

Strong cloud/container experience.

Enterprise data modeling.

Microsoft SQL Server development.

Experience with modern CI/CD and Azure development environments.

Important Requirements:

Candidates must be local to Ohio.

Initially remote, but the position will eventually move in-office to 1221 McKinley Avenue, Columbus, Ohio.

Candidate must be able to work onsite when required.

Fingerprint background check is required.
