Experienced Carpenter

(Our services include new home construction, home remodeling, masonry, roofing, and excavating. In addition, our full-service team also provides professional interior remodel services, second-story home additions, four-season rooms, exterior siding installation, composite decking, stamped concrete, and more.)

Duties

Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and frameworks using wood, metal, and other materials

Erect metal buildings and perform metal stud framing with precision

Execute, finishing, and rebar installation for various projects

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities

Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively

Perform masonry work including plastering, stucco application, and restoration tasks

Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools for precise cuts and assembly

Manage construction plans to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards

Conduct framing work for residential or commercial structures including trim carpentry and dimensional measurements

Assist in site management tasks such as scheduling materials delivery and coordinating with team members

Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry; experience in metal building erection

Proficiency in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and measuring devices such as tape measures

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina for demanding tasks is essential

Strong knowledge of construction safety procedures and protocols

Ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex projects with attention to detail

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during project execution

Valid experience in framing (including woodworking), drywall installation (including plastering), stucco application, rebar installation, welding (a plus), and metal stud framing preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical schematics accurately

Construction site experience is highly desirable; familiarity with blueprints and schematics is essential for success in this role

License/Certification:

Driver's License

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
