Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). Float required within the health system as needed.Highlights:

Progressive Care Unit serving a diverse patient population including oncology, surgical, cardiac, and general medical patients

Patient census of 34 with 3-4 patient ratios; 44-bed unit capacity

Epic charting system experience preferred

32 hours of orientation provided; 13-week travel assignment

Specialized unit with unique corrections environment; corrections experience not required

First-time travelers welcome; candidates with 1 year of experience subject to manager reviewRequirements:

Minimum 1 year of current, acute care experience in PCU, step-down, or telemetry (must be actively working in specialty within the last 12 months)

Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Previous telemetry experience with strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills

Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips

Skills in isolation precautions, IV management, oxygen administration, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Two professional references required (at least one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership role)

Current employees are ineligible for travel positions at this location

Time off must be requested at time of submission and built into contractParking Options:
