About the Role

Apex Tech Sourcing is partnering with micro1, a premier AI data lab, to hire remote Video Data Annotators. In this role, you will apply your precision and attention to detail to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will directly shape how foundational models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world multimedia input.

No prior experience in AI is required—your domain knowledge, strong English communication, and ability to follow strict guidelines are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

- Multimedia Annotation: Review and annotate short video and audio clips, labeling content accurately based on project-specific guidelines.

- AI Evaluation: Assess the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated descriptions for diverse multimedia content.

- Content Moderation: Evaluate content compliance against clear moderation standards, flagging uncertain or inappropriate material with detailed rationale.

- Written Feedback: Provide clear, concise written feedback highlighting potential inaccuracies or ambiguities in AI outputs.

- Data Integrity: Maintain rigorous attention to detail and consistency across high volumes of submissions.

- Remote Collaboration: Collaborate remotely with project managers and fellow specialists to clarify guidelines and support process improvements.

- Confidentiality: Safeguard all project data, adhering strictly to confidentiality and data protection standards.

Required Skills & Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience with video/audio annotation, content labeling, or digital content moderation.

- Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate feedback and findings clearly in written form.

- Excellent attention to visual and audio detail, with a track record of delivering high-accuracy data.

- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing project guidelines.

- Familiarity with guideline-based evaluation and quality assurance practices.

- Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive information.
