Key Responsibilities - Conduct detailed assessments of residents to evaluate their physical capabilities, identifying specific treatment needs and goals based on their conditions.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving strength, mobility, and overall functional independence for each resident.
- Administer various therapeutic modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other advanced techniques to effectively address physical impairments.
- Document residents' progress regularly, utilizing electronic health record systems to track improvements and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to deliver holistic care tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise programs and wellness strategies to promote ongoing health outside of therapy sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as industry best practices and professional standards.

Qualifications - Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.
