Job Description

1801 Tavern is hiring a dependable, friendly, experienced bartender to join our team. We’re a neighborhood restaurant and sports bar serving great food, drinks, sports, and a fun atmosphere.

Schedule

Afternoon/evening: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

Weekend mornings: Friday, Saturday & Sunday starting at 7:00 AM

Part-time or consistent hours depending on availability

Pay & Tips

Hourly wage plus tips

Servers tip out the bartender

Bartender also receives their own bar tips

Responsibilities

Take care of bar and restaurant guests

Prepare beer, wine, cocktails and other drinks

Take food and drink orders

Operate POS and process payments

Check IDs and follow alcohol-service requirements

Keep the bar clean, stocked and organized

Communicate with servers, kitchen and management

Assist with opening and closing

Follow 1801 Tavern recipes and service standards

Requirements

Bartending experience preferred

Reliable and dependable

Friendly and outgoing

Strong customer-service skills

Able to multitask in a busy restaurant

Evening and weekend availability

Friday/Saturday/Sunday morning availability starting at 7 AM

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
