Job Description*:

#Role Summary:

The Command Center Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Command Center, ensuring continuous monitoring of IT infrastructure, applications, and services.

This role involves managing incident response, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high availability and performance of critical systems.

#Key Responsibilities:

1) Operational Oversight:

Lead and manage Command Center operations, ensuring 24x7 monitoring of enterprise systems and services.

Supervise a team of analysts/operators and ensure adherence to SOPs.

2) Incident Management:

Act as the escalation point for major incidents and outages.

Coordinate with technical teams for quick resolution and minimize downtime.

Ensure proper incident documentation and post-incident reviews.

3) Monitoring & Reporting:

Oversee real-time monitoring tools and dashboards for infrastructure, applications, and network health.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance and incident reports for leadership.

4) Process Compliance:

Ensure compliance with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Maintain and update runbooks and operational procedures.

5) Stakeholder Communication:

Provide timely updates to management and business stakeholders during critical events.

Facilitate bridge calls and coordinate communication during outages.

6) Continuous Improvement:

Identify gaps in monitoring and suggest automation opportunities.

Train and mentor team members on tools, processes, and best practices.

#Experience:

5+ years in IT operations or infrastructure monitoring, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

#Technical Skills:

1) Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, ServiceNow).

2) Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms).

#Soft Skills:

1) Excellent communication and coordination skills.

2) Ability to work under pressure and manage high-stress situations.

3) Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
