Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Ragon Chiropractic Health Center Green, Ohio
Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapy
Ragon Chiropractic Health Center is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who wants more than just a busy treatment schedule. We are looking for someone who values collaboration, mentorship, clinical growth, and individualized patient care.
Our physical therapy department is built around a team approach. PTs and PTAs work closely together throughout the patient's plan of care, allowing our clinicians to communicate, collaborate, and provide a consistent treatment experience.A Truly Collaborative Model of Care
Our PT department utilizes a PT/PTA collaborative treatment model, including shared 30/30 appointments. This structure allows patients to benefit from the skills of both the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant during their rehabilitation.
Rather than clinicians working independently, our team regularly communicates about patient progress, treatment strategies, and modifications to the plan of care.
You'll also work within a multidisciplinary practice alongside Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Nurse Practitioners, creating opportunities to look beyond a single area of pain and address the patient as a whole.Mentorship Is Built Into the Schedule
Professional development isn't something we expect you to find time for outside of work. Weekly mentoring sessions are built into our clinical schedule.
Our team incorporates advanced movement and rehabilitation concepts, including:
Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) concepts
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
Functional movement and mobility
Neuromuscular re-education
Therapeutic exercise and progressive strengthening
Manual and hands-on treatment approaches
Patient-specific movement strategies
Prior experience with PRI or DNS is not required. These concepts and techniques will be introduced and developed through our weekly mentoring sessions and ongoing collaboration with our experienced PT team.
We are looking for someone who is curious, coachable, and excited to continue developing as a clinician. The Ragon Culture
At Ragon, we take patient care seriously, but we also believe that people do their best work when they enjoy the people they work with.
We have built a culture centered around teamwork, communication, continued learning, positivity, and genuinely caring for our patients and one another. Our providers are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, collaborate across disciplines, and learn from each other's strengths.
We work hard and maintain a busy practice, but we also value creating an environment that is welcoming, energetic, and supportive. We celebrate each other's successes, help one another when the day gets busy, and believe every team member contributes to the patient experience.
We aren't looking for someone who simply wants to come in, see their patients, and go home. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of the team, contribute to our culture, grow professionally, and help us continue building something special. What You'll Do
