Emergency Nursing - Emergency Room Nurse

ED Location: Clinton, Illinois Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 3 Term: 12-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $52 - $56/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an ED for a temporary assignment in Clinton, Illinois. These positions are 12-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a ED:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department

Evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER

Consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required

Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care

Meets the communication needs of patient and family

Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations

Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies

Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment

Maintains current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois

Maintains current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification

ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certification preferred

Works night shift, 6:30pm - 7:00am, with rotating weekends
