About The Role

You'll lead HVAC construction projects across multi-family developments from pre-construction through closeout. This is hands-on project management where you'll coordinate field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors. You're not just pushing paper — you'll be on-site regularly, solving problems in real-time and keeping commercial HVAC installations running smoothly across multiple properties.

What You'll Be Doing

Manage complete HVAC project lifecycles for multi-family construction from kickoff to final inspection

Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to coordinate installations

Lead daily operations including crew scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination

Track project budgets, forecast resource needs, and manage change orders through project management software

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and address field issues

Maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact throughout project duration

Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact schedule or budget

Generate reports and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Supervise field teams and subcontractors to ensure work meets specifications and safety standards

Coordinate with general contractors, property managers, and inspectors on multi-family job sites

What We're Looking For

5+ years of project management experience in construction (HVAC or mechanical systems preferred)

3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for project documentation and reporting

Proven experience with project management software platforms

Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

Strong understanding of multi-family construction processes and timelines

Valid driver's license for regular site visits

Nice To Have

HVAC-specific certifications or technical training

Experience managing commercial or multi-family HVAC projects from start to finish

Familiarity with building codes and mechanical permitting processes
