DRIVER / WAREHOUSE & DELIVERY ASSOCIATE

Job Description

Eastern Wear Parts is looking for a reliable, hardworking, hands-on person to join our team. We are open to part-time or full-time depending on the right candidate.

We are a growing company supplying snow plow cutting edges, heavy equipment wear parts, bucket edges, grader blades, sweeper brooms, undercarriage parts and more to contractors, municipalities, and equipment operators throughout New England.

What you'll be doing:

• Local and regional deliveries of heavy equipment and snow-removal parts

• Driving a truck with a large trailer and loaded materials

• Safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading large/heavy items

• Operating a forklift to load and unload materials

• Picking up materials from vendors and delivering to customers/job sites

• Helping in the warehouse between deliveries

• Pulling, organizing, and preparing orders

• Keeping trucks, trailers, and work areas clean and organized

• Assisting the team wherever needed to keep orders moving

️ This job gets BUSY in the winter.

Our business is heavily involved in snow removal equipment and parts, so winter is our busiest and most demanding time of year. We need someone who understands that when the snow is coming, customers need their parts NOW.

The right person needs to be:

️ Reliable and dependable

️ Comfortable getting up early

️ A safe and confident driver

️ Comfortable towing and handling a large trailer/load

️ Comfortable operating or willing to learn a forklift

️ Physically capable of loading/unloading materials

️ Able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment

️ Someone who takes pride in doing the job right

️ Willing to work hard and stay busy

️ Able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with trailers, forklifts, heavy equipment, construction, trucking, deliveries, or warehouse work is a BIG plus.

A clean driving record and valid driver's license are required.

Location: Mansfield, MA

Position: Part-time or Full-time

Pay: Competitive, based on experience
