Full Stack Java Developer (Swift / iOS)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Intepros is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with hands-on Swift experience to join our client's engineering team. You'll build and maintain enterprise-grade backend services in Java while contributing to native iOS features in Swift, so you'll be working across the entire stack, from APIs and databases through to the mobile experience.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot

Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices

Develop and enhance native iOS application features using Swift

Build responsive front-end components using Angular or React

Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)

Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

Write clean, testable code and take part in code reviews

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across web, mobile, and backend layers

What You Bring

5+ years of professional experience as a full stack developer

Strong core Java skills (Java 11+), including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA

Hands-on experience developing iOS applications with Swift (UIKit and/or SwiftUI)

Front-end experience with Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar), and Maven/Gradle

Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, XCTest)

Nice to Have

Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Docker and Kubernetes

Messaging/streaming tools such as Kafka or MQ

Financial services or other regulated-industry experience

App Store deployment and release management experience
