AI Applications Developer Co-Op - Group

Position Description

The AI Application Developer co-op will assist the AI team in the design and development of the web interfaces and APIs to the AI and cloud applications.

Responsibilities

Assist other developers on the team in the design and development of the web interfaces and APIs to the AI and cloud applications applications.

Assist in the establishment of and follow design standards, design patterns and best practices.

Help team with the changes or updates related to AI applications and test those changes.

Helps others in the group in the resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions.

Create documentation for all levels of software development life cycle.

Meets expected standards such as accuracy, thoroughness and correctness in all assigned work.

Desired Skills

Understanding of web software development technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery

Java and or Python language development experience

Experience with databases(Oracle, MySQL etc.)Understanding of the Web and API frameworks

Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies

Working knowledge of software code development tools (Microsoft Visual Studio Code or similar)

Some experience with UNIX/Linux, shell scripting or Perl

Some experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure

Education

Working on getting Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

Compensation

Technical Co-Op: $25-$32 per hour (based on year in school)

Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level DoD security clearance.
