Work Environment

This position is onsite in our outpatient office located in Front Royal, Virginia, a scenic town renowned for its rich historical significance and beautiful surroundings. As a member of our therapeutic team, you will work closely with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and healthcare support staff, creating a dynamic and collaborative environment that prioritizes quality outcomes for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations in alignment with physician orders, setting clear treatment goals and customized care plans to address individual needs.

Document patient evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in adherence to professional standards, ensuring clear communication within the electronic health record system.

Administer appropriate therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative treatment modalities tailored to each patient's age, condition, and functional status.

Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and students, guiding them in providing effective patient care that aligns with established therapy goals.

Review and assess the effectiveness of treatment modalities and make necessary adjustments to enhance patient outcomes, engaging in ongoing evaluation and progress monitoring.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to develop integrated care plans that effectively support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
