Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans based on referrals from physicians, ensuring each patient's specific needs are met.

Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies and evidence-based practices to provide effective treatment for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.

Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, positively engaging with patients and their families to enhance their recovery experience.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes, sharing insights and strategies that drive effective rehabilitation.

Implement skilled therapeutic interventions directly at the patient's location, adhering to physician-directed care plans.

Provide consultation, education, and training for patients and caregivers, empowering them to participate actively in the recovery process.

Achieve and maintain minimum utilization and business objectives, contributing to the overall success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, pediatric conditions, and neurological disorders. Your role is central to facilitating their recovery and improving their quality of life through skilled physical therapy and compassionate care, tailoring your approach to meet the unique backgrounds and needs of each patient.

Qualifications

Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.

Current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with patients.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and the ability to manage patient records efficiently.

A genuine passion for positively impacting the lives of patients, with a strong commitment to their recovery goals.

Preferred Experience

At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy.

Experience in multiple specialties such as orthopedic, pediatric, or neurologic rehabilitation.

Proven track record of providing high-quality, patient-centered care that meets or exceeds established standards.
