Paraprofessional

Wareham Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to provide support at Wareham Elementary School.

This position plays an essential role that promotes student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth.

The paraprofessional works 181 days per year and supports students within the classroom setting under the supervision of the classroom teacher and school administrators.

This role involves assisting students in developing communication, academic, behavioral, and self-help skills, while contributing to a structured and supportive learning environment.

The paraprofessional also collaborates with the teacher to implement daily classroom activities and provide consistent support to meet student needs.
