Senior AI Backend Engineer (Psychology Stack)

PixaSocial Ai builds viral social content on proprietary psychology and psychographic models - posts, visuals and campaigns, published across Instagram, X, LinkedIn and 12+ channels.

THE ROLE

Own the core backend services that turn psychological and psychographic models into reliable, explainable product behaviour: profiling signals, persona construction, scoring and the APIs that expose them to campaign operators.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design and maintain the psychology/psychographic service layer: feature derivation, persona models, scoring endpoints, versioning of model behaviour.

- Keep model output trustworthy: validation, drift checks, reproducible runs, audit trails for why a persona was chosen.

- Build the inference and job orchestration around those models - queues, retries, cost and latency budgets.

- Partner with product and GTM so psychographic output is explainable to a marketer, not a black box.

- Take services from sketch to production and on-call. Python, Postgres, queues, HTTP APIs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Mid-senior backend engineer (5-8 years) who has shipped and operated production services, comfortable with model-serving interfaces and data-heavy backends. US-based, remote or hybrid.

NICE TO HAVE

Applied ML serving, psychometrics or behavioural data, multi-tenant SaaS.
