Job Description*:

- We are seeking a Cloud Observability & ELK Platform Engineer to manage, support, and optimize enterprise-scale Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet, and Elastic Agents) deployed on Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, and Rancher. The role focuses on ensuring platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence across Production, UAT, and DR environments.

#Key Responsibilities:

· Administer and maintain Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Fleet, and Elastic Agents.

· Monitor cluster health, performance, storage utilization, and capacity.

· Manage index lifecycle policies (ILM), retention, archival, snapshots, and recovery.

· Configure dashboards, alerts, index templates, mappings, and Logstash pipelines.

· Onboard new applications, log sources, and Elastic Agents into the ELK platform.

· Support Kubernetes-hosted ELK workloads, including scaling, patching, upgrades, and namespace-level RBAC.

· Perform Elastic Stack upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and SSL/TLS certificate management.

· Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and support DR activities.

· Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and service reports.

· Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to drive platform stability and continuous improvement.

#Required Skills:

· Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Fleet, and Elastic Agents.

· Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS, Rancher).

· Knowledge of Elastic security, RBAC, ILM, snapshot management, and performance tuning.

· Experience with YAML, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).

· Understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.

· Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and operational support experience.
