Job Description*:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Tester with 6-8 years of experience in software testing and Playwright automation.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright and possess strong knowledge of functional, regression, and API testing within Agile development environments.

#Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.·

Build and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript.·

Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.·

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test scenarios.·

Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members throughout the SDLC.·

Execute API testing and validate backend services.·

Report, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.·

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.·

Maintain test artifacts, execution results, and traceability in tools such as JIRA and Octane.·

Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives.·

Provide testing status updates, identify risks, and recommend mitigation plans.

#Required Skills:

Automation Testing·

6-8 years of QA automation testing experience.·

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.·

Strong experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.·

Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven frameworks.· Experience with cross-browser and end-to-end automation testing. Functional Testing·

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.·

Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, System, and Integration Testing.·

Ability to create and execute detailed test cases and test plans. API amp; Database Testing·

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.·
