Skidsteer/ Bobcat Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a Skidsteer/Bobcat Operator to support scrap metal projects through safe and efficient equipment operation, material handling, and jobsite cleanup. This role will regularly use multiple attachment types, including forklift attachments, report to the Operations Manager/Owner, and involve minimal local travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

Operate skid-steer and Bobcat equipment for scrap metal projects.

Load, move, and handle materials efficiently.

Use multiple equipment attachments, including forklift attachments.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections.

Complete jobsite cleanup and maintain an orderly work area.

Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of skid-steer operation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating skid-steer and Bobcat equipment.

Experience using loader and forklift attachments.

Knowledge of site grading and material handling.

Experience with equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.

Understanding of jobsite safety practices.
