Work Environment

The role is based in our modern outpatient office, where you will work alongside a team of skilled professionals committed to patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to create individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.

Implementing hands-on manual therapy techniques, including orthopedic rehabilitation therapies, tailored to each patient's needs.

Educating patients and their families about physical therapy processes, recovery timelines, and strategies to promote self-management.

Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for each patient interaction to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and team members to share insights and improve treatment outcomes.

Staying current with industry trends and pursuing ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Rising Sun Physical Therapy, our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes a wide array of conditions, such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and geriatric rehabilitation. Our therapists have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, each with distinct challenges and rehabilitation needs. We are also looking for expertise in pelvic floor rehabilitation, as we aim to be recognized leaders in this specialty within the San Francisco Bay area.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (required), with a preference for advanced certifications.

A valid Physical Therapy License in California (required).

Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic environment is highly desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with team members.

A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and adaptability to new techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

While the role requires a foundational education and license, we prefer candidates who also demonstrate:

Compensation and Benefits
