Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Boiler Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance and repair professional with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in commercial steam and hot water boiler systems.
The Boiler Technician will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of boiler room equipment through diagnostics, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, installation support, and commissioning work.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial steam boilers, hot water boilers, auxiliary equipment, and boiler room systems.
- Troubleshoot controls, pumps, motors, valves, electrical systems, water and gas lines, piping, tanks, and related components.
- Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to complete diagnostics, installations, and repairs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance while monitoring equipment operation to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new boilers, burners, and related heating systems.
- Complete accurate service reports and perform work in compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Job Type: Direct hire.

Qualifications
- Technical or associate degree in mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience maintaining, repairing, or servicing boilers and related systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 70 pounds and perform physically demanding service work.
- Willingness to work at heights as required.
- Valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
- Strong commitment to safety practices, code compliance, and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on complex service and installation projects.
