What You will Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform high-quality carotid duplex, peripheral arterial, venous reflux, and venous duplex examinations according to lab protocols and IAC standards
Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
Prepare patients and examination rooms before testing
Review previous examinations when applicable and identify/document relevant changes
Prepare summarized findings for the interpreting physician
Enter preliminary results and documentation into the electronic medical record
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked examination room
Work collaboratively with the vascular laboratory team to maintain an efficient, positive patient experience
What We are Looking For
Current RVT or RVS certification
Current BLS certification
2+ years of experience performing a broad range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations
Strong knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Team-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and confidently in a fast-paced environment
Full-time
