MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING Sit-Down Forklift Operators in Plainfield, IN!

Position: Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Pay: $18.22/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday–Friday 4:30 PM–1:30 AM

Location: Plainfield, IN

Job Summary

The Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, staging, and storing products throughout the warehouse. This position requires recent sit-down forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the warehouse

Load trucks and move pallets to designated staging lanes

Move full pallets from storage racks to picking locations

Transport pallets from receiving areas to designated rack locations

Use RF scanners to locate products, fill orders, and maintain inventory accuracy

Verify product quantities before and after picking

Build pallets according to product weight and size to prevent damage

Wrap completed pallets and properly apply shipping labels

Stage products safely and accurately for shipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Recent sit-down forklift experience required

Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Dependable attendance and ability to arrive on time

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Ability to pass required forklift safety training

Ability to complete required background screening

Preferred:

Previous warehouse experience

High school diploma or GED
