Dentist - SC

Our client in SC is seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 2-day assignment. This role involves providing straightforward, basic dentistry for a school-based dental program, focusing on essential preventive and restorative care for children. The schedule typically runs from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some days extending until 3:00 PM, involving duties such as dental and hygiene exams, fillings, and occasional tooth extractions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Conduct dental exams and hygiene exams

Perform fillings and basic restorative care

Execute occasional primary/baby tooth extractions

Handle rare permanent tooth extractions for teenage patients when necessary

Focus on providing essential preventive and restorative dental care to children with limited access to dental services

Avoid complex procedures such as crowns, bridges, or other complex restorative cases

Additional Information

Work within a school-based dental program serving students in underserved communities

The clinic facilitates transportation for students from their schools to the dental clinic for care
