Title: Warehouse Assembler
Location: Groveport, OH, 43125
Pay rate range: $17/hr-$17.25/hr
Job Description:
Performs assembly and preparation of products and components within a warehouse or logistics environment. Supports production and fulfillment processes by ensuring products are assembled accurately and meet quality standards prior to shipment.
Responsibilities:
Assembles products, components, or kits according to work instructions and specifications.
Prepares items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
Verifies accuracy and quality of assembled products to meet customer and company standards.
Uses tools and equipment to complete assembly and light production tasks.
Identifies and reports defects, missing components, or quality issues.
Maintains accurate records of assembly work and inventory usage.
Follows standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborates with team members to meet productivity and output targets.
Supports additional warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, and material handling as needed.
Adapts to changing priorities and supports multiple operational areas.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Basic understanding of assembly, production, or warehouse operations preferred.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and diagrams.
Experience using hand tools or basic assembly equipment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and repetitive movement.
Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to meet productivity targets.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Basic problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues as needed.
0-2 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly roles preferred.
