Outpatient Coder II (Fully Remote)

Utilizes technical coding expertise to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visit types.

Reviews medical records thoroughly and interprets documentation to select appropriate diagnoses and procedures.

Sends physician queries when required and resolves NCCI edits with approved modifiers.

Qualifications:

Must have RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential.

Requires 3-4 years of coding experience in an acute healthcare setting.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
