Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technicians — Mechanical & Electrical
We are hiring experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support our operation.
These are separate opportunities for technicians with strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on industrial maintenance experience. You will help keep production equipment operating safely and reliably, including heat treatment systems, hydrotesting equipment, threading machinery, and associated controls.
Mechanical Maintenance Responsibilities
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete repairs.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery and components.
Install, align, and adjust equipment using precision measuring tools.
Repair or replace worn and damaged parts, using welding and brazing techniques where appropriate.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and maintenance instructions.
Support equipment installation and work with production and engineering teams to resolve recurring problems.
Electrical Maintenance Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical faults affecting production equipment.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery and associated electrical controls.
Use electrical test equipment to identify failed components and determine the cause of breakdowns.
Inspect, repair, and replace electrical components to restore equipment operation.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and controls.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Work with mechanical maintenance, production, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
Responsibilities for Both Roles
Respond to breakdowns and help minimize unplanned downtime.
Document maintenance work, repairs, and equipment concerns.
Communicate equipment status and repair needs to the team.
Maintain organized tools, parts, and work areas.
Follow all plant safety procedures, required PPE, and applicable lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in the applicable mechanical or electrical discipline.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment systematically and complete repairs safely.
Experience using trade-specific tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow maintenance procedures.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Mechanical applicants should demonstrate strong machinery repair and alignment skills. Electrical applicants should demonstrate strong electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting skills.
