Assemble flanged connections using specified gaskets, fasteners and approved tightening procedures within your competency.

Remove, replace and maintain piping components following confirmed isolation and authorisation.

Support pressure-test preparation, reinstatement and leak checks under approved procedures.

Identify defects or discrepancies and refer proposed changes to the supervisor before proceeding.

Follow permit-to-work, isolation, hot-work and work-at-height requirements where applicable.

Participate in toolbox talks and task risk assessments, and maintain good housekeeping.

Complete required work records and support inspections and handovers.

What you will bring

Demonstrable pipefitting experience in oil and gas, energy services, process plants or a comparable industrial environment.

A relevant trade qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent assessed practical competence.

The ability to interpret piping drawings and accurately measure, align and fit components.

Working knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, flanges and supports.

Experience using pipefitting tools safely and following installation and quality procedures.

Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and the hazards associated with pressurised or previously operating pipework.

Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other trades.
