Customer Care Representative

Job Description

RemX is seeking Call Center Representatives for a client located in Columbus OH

Start Date: ASAP

Length: Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Location: Columbus, OH 43228

Shift:

Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5pm

Mandatory OT up to 2 hours per day during peak season

Training:

Training hours will be the same as the work hours

3 weeks of training and then you will have support/mentor

Key Responsibilities

Providing customer care or service to both customers and retail customers

Will handle both phone calls and emails

Assist customers calling in with troubleshooting equipment

Answer inbound customer calls professionally and courteously.

Handle a high-volume call environment, with some versions of the position targeting 35+ inbound calls/cases per day.

Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent customer service.

De-escalate difficult customer situations while remaining calm and solution-focused.

Assist customers with product information, product usage, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and service requests.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to remain calm and professional with frustrated customers.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn customer service/CRM software.

Previous call center or customer service experience.

Experience using CRM/customer management systems.

NetSuite experience is a plus.

Familiarity with outdoor power equipment or small engines.

Basic mechanical or technical troubleshooting ability.
