CDL-A Flex / Team Driver - Regional & OTR - Gross

Job Description

Purpose-Driven Operations LLC is hiring a dependable CDL-A Flex Driver who can adapt to the needs of a growing trucking operation.

This position is different from a traditional assigned-truck driving role. We are looking for a versatile driver who is comfortable running solo, teaming with another qualified driver, covering another driver’s route, and taking longer-distance loads when needed.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys driving but wants variety and the opportunity to grow into a larger role within the company.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay: 17% of applicable truck gross revenue

HOW THE FLEX POSITION WORKS

Depending on operational needs, you may:

Run regional or OTR freight

Drive solo when a truck needs coverage

Team with another qualified CDL-A driver on longer runs

Cover scheduled driver time off

Help reposition tractors or trailers

Step into an available truck when additional freight opportunities arise

Assist with high-volume weeks when additional driving capacity is needed

The objective is to keep our equipment moving and give PDO additional capacity to accept profitable freight without overloading our regular drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate Class A commercial equipment

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain communication with dispatch/operations

Meet pickup and delivery appointments

Properly secure freight

Strap, chain and tarp flatbed loads when required

Maintain accurate BOL/POD documentation

Keep assigned equipment clean and properly maintained

Comply with DOT, FMCSA and company safety requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class A CDL

Acceptable MVR/driving history

Must meet applicable DOT and insurance requirements

Must pass required drug/alcohol screening

Flatbed experience preferred

Load securement experience strongly preferred

Comfortable working with another professional driver when assigned to team operations

Willing to operate regional and OTR routes

Dependable communication and availability

Safety-focused and professional

WHO THIS POSITION IS FOR
