Mount Zion Health & Rehab Center is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team!

This position plays an important role in supporting our employees and daily facility operations. The HR Coordinator will assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, employee onboarding, recruiting, personnel records, benefits administration, employee support, and other HR and administrative functions.

Because this position works closely with the unique staffing, regulatory, and payroll needs of a skilled nursing facility, prior Human Resources or Payroll experience in a healthcare or long-term care (LTC) setting is strongly preferred.Why Join Mount Zion Health & Rehab Center?

As our HR Coordinator, you'll help ensure our employees have the support and resources they need while helping keep important HR and payroll functions organized and accurate.

Responsibilities may include:

Process payroll and maintain employee time clock records accurately and timely

Answer incoming phone calls and greet facility visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation

Prepare and maintain onboarding and employee documentation

Maintain personnel files in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements

Track employee licenses, certifications, background checks, nurse aide registry verifications, and recertifications

Assist with recruiting coordination, including job postings, applicant tracking, resume review, and occasional phone interviews

Support staffing needs and coordinate hiring activities with department leaders

Assist employees and supervisors with HR policies, procedures, and workplace questions

Assist with employee benefits enrollment and education

Maintain accurate and confidential employee information

Participate in meetings, training, in-service education, and other administrative functions

Complete additional duties as assigned by the AdministratorWho We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands that healthcare HR requires accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail.Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Prior HR and/or Payroll experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is strongly preferred

Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is highly preferred

Experience with payroll processing and employee timekeeping

Experience with employee records, onboarding, recruiting, or benefits administration

Familiarity with healthcare staffing, licensing, certification, or regulatory requirements is a plus

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally

Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Working in a skilled nursing environment comes with unique HR and payroll responsibilities, including staffing requirements, employee certifications and licenses, nurse aide registry verification, timekeeping, compliance, and regulatory documentation.
