Structural Welder / Fabricator - 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Description

Warriors 2 Workforce is hiring experienced Structural Welders / Fabricators for a busy fabrication shop in the Columbus area.

We currently have opportunities available on 1st and 2nd shift and are looking for dependable welders who can work independently in a production/fabrication environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

MIG and stick welding in various positions

Reading and following basic structural shop drawings

Cutting, fitting and tacking structural components

Building assemblies square and level

Using basic hand and power tools

Performing fabrication work with minimal supervision

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Following required PPE and shop safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

Previous structural welding or fabrication experience

MIG welding experience required

Stick welding experience preferred

Ability to read basic shop drawings/blueprints

Experience with fit-up, tacking and fabrication

Ability to work independently and produce quality work

Reliable attendance and transportation

Schedule

1st and 2nd shift openings available

Pay

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and weld-test results.

Hiring Process

Qualified candidates will first interview with Warriors 2 Workforce before being considered for the client opportunity.

A hands-on weld test may be required before placement.
